COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
Projects inspired by a need. Bringing the community together to perform act of service such as making Care Kits for homeless children.
SUPERHEROES CLEAN UP THE TOWN
Monthly event where children wear super hero costumes while cleaning up local parks and open spaces to better the environment and the community.
KINDNESS CAMPS
A week-long camp where each day has a different theme such as; care of environment, recognition of service personnel, bonding with our elders, random acts of kindness and helping those in need.
IN SCHOOL COMMUNITY SERVICE CURRICULUM
Kind Deed Challenges are a fun and easy way to introduce kids to helping their community. The challenge is introduced in the classroom and usually lasts 1-2 weeks. During that time, the classroom teacher records all the kind deeds that the students complete and those deeds are written on hearts and displayed on the classroom walls. The students get to watch the wall fill up with all the things they did to help their classroom, school, family and community!
KIDS CAN DO IT - BLOG
A blog that provides simple projects that caregivers can perform with their children in their own community.
LEADERS IN TRAINING
Leadership program that guides middle and high school students through creation, facilitation and leading community improvement projects. Leadership coaching, training and toolkit provided to participants.
